Your trip starts in Japan’s kitchen, famed for street food, friendly locals, and massive entertainment hubs.

• Day 1: Arrival & Dotonbori Neon Lights

  • Check into your hotel. Spend your evening walking along the neon-lit canal of Dotonbori. Try local street delicacies like Takoyaki (octopus balls) and Okonomiyaki (savory pancakes) under the giant Glico Running Man sign.

• Day 2: Thrills at Universal Studios Japan

• Dedicate the entire day to Universal Studios Osaka. To secure entry into Super Nintendo World, make sure to download the official park app ahead of time to grab a timed-entry eTicket as soon as you enter, or purchase an Express Pass in advance to guarantee entry to Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge.

• Day 3: Historical Osaka Castle & Shinsekai

  • Visit the majestic Osaka Castle park in the morning. In the afternoon, explore the retro, nostalgic vibes of the Shinsekai district and catch a panoramic view of the city from the Tsutenkaku Tower.

Part 2: Kyoto (2 Nights)

Take a short 30-minute bullet train or local express north into Kyoto, the cultural heart of Japan filled with bamboo forests and ancient shrines.

• Day 4: Arashiyama Bamboo Groves & Scenic River Views

• Travel straight to the western district of Arashiyama . Walk through the towering trails of the Forest early in the day to beat the crowds, explore the tranquil gardens of Tenryu – ji  temple, and cross the iconic Togetsukyo Bridge.

• Day 5: Torii Gates & Golden Pavilions

  • Start early at Fushimi Inari Taisha to hike through thousands of vibrant vermilion torii gates winding up the mountain. In the afternoon, visit Kinkaku-ji (The Golden Pavilion) to see the top two floors completely covered in gold leaf reflecting over a mirror pond. End your evening walking through the historic lantern-lit alleys of Gion.

Part 3: Tokyo & Mount Fuji (4 Nights)

Board the Shinkansen (bullet train) east towards Tokyo.

• Day 6: Tokyo Arrival & Shibuya Shopping

  • Arrive in Tokyo and head straight to Shibuya. Experience the organized chaos of the Shibuya Crossing, shop at Shibuya 109 or the massive Magnet building, and catch a stunning sunset from the Shibuya Sky observation deck.

• Day 7: Day Trip to Lake Kawaguchiko & Mount Fuji

• Take an early morning highway bus or the Fuji Excursion train out to Lake Kawaguchiko. Rent a bicycle or ride the sightseeing bus along the northern shore for classic post-card views of Mount Fuji framing the lake. Stop by the Chureito Pagoda for the ultimate view of the mountain behind a five-story pagoda.

• Day 8: The Magic of Disney Parks

• Pick between the two world-class parks. Opt for DisneyLand  if you want classic fairy-tale charm and unique attractions like the Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast. If you prefer a completely unique, nautical-themed park with more thrilling rides like Journey to the Center of the Earth, head to Disney Sea instead.

• Day 9: Electronics, Anime & Luxury Fashion

  • Spend your final full day exploring Tokyo’s diverse shopping districts. Visit Ginza for luxury brands and massive department stores, Harajuku’s Takeshita Street for quirky youth fashion, and Akihabara for electronics, anime merchandise, and gaming culture.

• Day 10: Departure

  • Grab some last-minute Japanese snacks (like Tokyo Banana or KitKats) at the airport before boarding your flight home.

Essential Planning Tips:

1. Disney & USJ Tickets: Theme park tickets in Japan must be booked exactly 2 months in advance. Set reminders as spots for Universal Studios and Disney sell out very quickly.

2. IC Card & Luggage: Download a digital Suica or Pasmo card to your Apple/Google Wallet for effortless tapping on local subways. Use a luggage forwarding service (Takuhaibin) to ship your large suitcases from your Osaka hotel directly to your Tokyo hotel, letting you travel light to Kyoto.
